Multi Cervical Rehabilitation

Hanoun (BTE) MULTI CERVICAL REHABILITATION UNIT (MCU)

THE MISSING LINK FOR NECK PAIN SUFFERS!

Neck pain and headaches affect over 45 Million Americans.  Neck injuries signify a physical fitness and human system problem with high operational significance. Prolonged sitting in today’s work environment along with poor posture can lead to weak neck muscles leading to strain on the muscles of the upper back, shoulders and base of the skull putting pressure on the nerves at its base which in turn radiates pain over the base of the skull and into the shoulders.  Thanks to new technological advances in the treatment of these potentially debilitating disorders, many doctors now have the ability to properly and effectively correct these conditions.

The MCU is the most effective and complete system for the assessment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from neck pain, whiplash associated disorders (WAD), and general cervical spine disorders. The MCU is an unmatched, research-backed tool that empowers this office to objectively evaluate, strengthen, and restore the ailing neck and cervical spine.

The MCU is a digitally interfaced system that allows for the real-time recording of cervical spine movement and isometric strength in more than 1,000 unique positions. The system also features a dynamic strengthening program for cervical spine conditions. Traditional treatment programs have relied upon rest, medication, passive therapies and manipulation practices; however, the results have been limited, as an emphasis was not placed upon the functional restoration of the neck.

The Multi-Cervical enables the clinician to evaluate and restore strength and function of the cervical spine. The system has been used with remarkable success and has been featured on television news programs across the United States, Canada, and Australia.

We are proud to be the only clinic in the DC Metro Region that utilizes the Hanoun (BTE) Multi-cervical Diagnostic and Rehabilitation System.

How long does it take to complete an evaluation?

Evaluations range from 15 minutes to 1 hour (over the course of one or two days). The nature of the evaluation is the primary determinant as to the length of time spent testing. The report-writing aspect of the Multi-Cervical Unit takes 10 to 15 minutes, and the preparation of graphs and charts are automatically formatted into the program.

How long does it take for a treatment?

Treatment sessions generally range from 25 to 45 minutes in duration. Treatment frequency is usually 3 times per week for a period of 6 weeks. The treatment program is based upon the severity of the injury and progress in treatment.

Clinicians who have adopted a “multi-modal approach”, the blending of technology and exercise, manual therapy, and modalities, for the treatment of cervical spine musculoskeletal disorders have documented successful clinical outcomes.
